I thought this was worth bringing up. Johnny Five 0 has in my opinion, evolved a lot since his first few audits and while he can still be a bit abrasive, I think he’s been doing an excellent job lately.
For the officer Stichter, I don’t have the same opinion. This officer, I think a captain actually is why we dislike a lot of cops. This is a perfect example of a douchebag cop, Johnny’s words not mine, but I agree.
You can tell he was butthurt after his first interaction, so he went to get his buddy before coming down to give Johnny’s crew more orders or directives.

Always with their directive shit!
But this is where it gets really blood-boiling, You can see it yourself, Captain Stitchter has no interest on anything the auditors have to say if it possibly goes against what he is saying. He doesn’t want to “get into it”, just like so many other tyrannical cops, they can’t ever defend their position and have a dialogue like adults. Instead, we get the response just like my 4-year-old used to do.
This is where he turns the volume and doubles-down on his attitude and we find out what he really has been trained to do is to extort more money from the citizens, the taxes we pay aren’t enough apparently. He tells Johnny he needs to get a contract.
He is telling them that they have to have a contract, and of course, said contract is actually a commercial license for commercial film production, not for the free press. But he will listen to none of it. Then notice how he just turns away from the citizens he’s supposed to serve and just basically ignores everything Johnny is saying.
I was willing to give Stitcher a pass just by being ignorant of the reality of the situation, but when he dismissed them with that attitude, he lost the benefit of the doubt with me.
The reason I opened this post with my opinion of Johnny’s audits is that there have been cases where I could see someone being a douchebag as a response to his approach, but in this case, everything was polite and reasonable given the circumstances, yet the cop chose to be a total fucking tool.
Then after that, the real Johnny comes out and there’s no stopping him. But the interaction with Stitchter was on point and he blew it.
It’s with encounters like these that I have to wonder if this is ever going to change. People in power making up rules because they feel like it. SMDH
