LAX is one of the most popular airports. In 2019, enough people flew through Los Angeles International that it ranked as the world’s third busiest airport and the United States’ second busiest airport. LAX has become very popular as a destination for independent journalists trying to catch the next undercover celebrity or international scandal footage to then sell to vulture websites like TMZ.
