I know Alexa rankings aren’t what they used to be, but I think they’re going to make a comeback.
I didn’t really care to look at the stats for this site yet. I know it’s very young and I haven’t promoted it very well nor have I been consistent in curating more videos.
I also think that I need to revamp the home page. If you were to visit it for the first time you would probably think that it’s just an aggregator of videos. If you didn’t know, we aren’t just an aggregator of cop videos or even 1st Amendment audits.
Each video that makes it here has a purpose and we’re working on being more consistent on developing the story we see in the video and also to connect them to other related videos.
But I was still pleasantly surprised to see this when I checked the Alexa rankings. I thought my rank would be way over 10,000,000 but I was wrong.
If I can get it to 1.5M or better, I will dedicate 30 min extra each day and will shoot for under 1M. That is a lofty goal even if this ranking isn’t all that important. But it’s a fair baseline.
There’s hope.
