This is the first I hear about this. In all fairness and to try to gather as much information about this as possible, I have to share this.
I haven’t looked into it beyond the article, but it will be included in our report and timeline of events as we figure where everybody fits and how everything went.
I hope Mr. Bishop as identified in the article isn’t one of the auditors. Any type of threat or harassment towards the police undermines the work, time and effort put in by all the other auditors that are following the law.

A 34-year-old Amarillo man was arrested Thursday for making nine threatening calls to police dispatchers and telling them he would “put a bullet between anybody’s eyes if they attempted to violate the law and my rights,” officials say. Earle Melverly Bishop is facing one charge of telephone harassment, a class B misdemeanor, according to court records. According to an arrest warrant filed in Bexar County, Bishop called a non-emergency police line around 11 p.m. March 20 to complain about the arrest of a g
